Pro-Tip: If you choose a plate with a smooth surface finish (like PET, PEO, or smooth PEY), there is a clear protective shipping film applied from the factory! You must peel this film off before your first print. Additionally, never try to pry a print off a scorching hot bed! Always wait for the steel plate to drop to room temperature so the plastic can naturally release its grip, then give the plate a gentle flex to pop the model off cleanly.
