Pro-Tip: Matte PLA gets its beautiful, non-reflective finish from specialized micro-additives blended into the plastic. Because of these additives, the raw filament strand on the spool can occasionally be slightly more brittle than standard glossy PLA. When feeding the filament into your extruder or PTFE tube, try to avoid bending it at sharp 90-degree angles to prevent accidental snapping. Once it goes through the hotend, however, your final printed model will be incredibly strong and rigid!
